“Casey was my 19-month-old’s instructor for Swim Float Swim, and she was wonderful! She is incredibly knowledgeable and has the perfect balance of being firm while still kind and encouraging. My daughter absolutely loved her and still asks about her every night. I would highly recommend Casey to anyone considering swim lessons for their child.” – Alex McKinney

“Our son Garrett started with Casey Ballard at Smart Swim Infant Aquatics at 20 months. He already loved the water. Honestly, a little too much and that was the problem. He had the affinity without the skills or the muscle memory to be safe if he ever got into a pool without us watching, and that gap is the thing that keeps you up at night as a parent.

We’d been through survival swim before with our daughter, so we knew what the first days can look like. Garrett was nervous the first time he was out in the deep water. Within two weeks that nervousness had turned into calm, and by the end of his six-week intensive he was asking me to go swim with Casey. That shift from hesitation to genuinely wanting to be in the water with her is everything.

What made it work is Casey herself. There’s a specific skill involved in being warm and reassuring to a kid who’s crying in a pool and still getting the work done. Call it poolside manner. She has it. She read Garrett, she stayed steady with him, and she kept us informed as parents the whole way through. Her training in the Infant Aquatics method shows, but what you really feel is her temperament.

If you’re a parent weighing whether your kid is too young, or you’re nervous about the process, or you’ve got a little one who loves water a bit too fearlessly for your comfort — Casey is the person you want. Garrett has the skills now. We have the peace of mind. Smart Swim Infant Aquatics is worth every minute.” – Evan Natwick

“Our three-year-old daughter, Everly, absolutely loved her swim lessons with Ms. Casey. From the very first class, Ms. Casey created a warm, patient, and encouraging environment that made Everly feel completely comfortable and safe in the water. Everly would bounce with excitement before each class and would proudly tell us (and her animals at home) her new skills afterward.

Ms. Casey’s ability to connect with young children, combined with her expertise in teaching water safety and swimming fundamentals, is truly exceptional. She helped lay a strong foundation for Everly’s swimming skills while ensuring the lessons were always positive and age-appropriate.

We highly recommend Ms. Casey to any family looking for a swim instructor who can make learning to swim both effective and genuinely enjoyable for young children. She is a wonderful teacher and we are so grateful for the confidence and love of the water she helped instill in our daughter.” – Skylar Pure

” I felt everyday, she always had a smile and gentle nature. I do think overall Artemis felt safe in the water with Casey and trusted her. From every lesson I watched she was attentive and aware of Artemis and worked with her abilities. Keeping the kiddos safe as they learn to keep themselves safe. “ – Olivia Snow
